Typically, guides for World of Warcraft tend to focus on just one facet like leveling, making gold, professions, or player versus player. The Ultimate Wow Guide covers all of those aspects in one place. There are a lot of guides out there that contain sound strategy, but not one of them are as comprehensive as this one is. You might think that a guide like this is hard to keep current, but the guide creator manages to keep it up to date for any changes due to patches and expansions.
The contents of the Ultimate WoW Guide is such that it is separated into three general chunks. The first section is focused on the 1 – 80 leveling guide for both Alliance and Horde, and covers all races and classes. The guide uses an in-game leveling guide add-on that makes leveling super fast and simple. Switching back and forth from the game to a leveling guide has always been something that I found extremely annoying. After using this in-game guide I’ll never go back.
The in-game guide is simple to setup and it essentially configures itself to whatever character you’re playing. After that you’ll be ready to use the guide to find out precisely what to do and where you need to go. You just need to accept quests and the guide will handle marking way-points on the map and guiding you with an arrow on your screen. The guide UI uses very little screen space and works like a champ.
One cool feature of the in-game guide is that it addresses quests unique to each class. The supplied gear spec guide is very thorough and is for every classes up through level eighty. The in-game Talent Guide is unique to the Ultimate Warcraft Guide. This works by taking advantage of templates for all of your character’s talents that can be easily chosen when it’s time to assign those talent points.
Part two is the gold making guide. You will amass all the gold you need while running through the power leveling phase. To collect a substantial quantity of gold you need to be high level, which is precisely what this gold guide is designed for. Mounts are typically the only reason to farm gold for lower level characters and that’s only to speed up leveling. Dugi’s guide includes the optimal strategies when using the auction house, and the best locations to look for in-demand items. Dailies are covered as well. The guide will have you amassing fat stacks in no time at all. Professions are a key piece of making gold and a professions guide is provided to show you how to max out your skills fast.
PvP is the subject of the 3rd and final section of the Ultimate WoW Guide. I’ve always found this to be one of the most entertaining aspects of WoW. Regardless of which class you’re up against, this guide shows you how to walk away a winner. You’ll get a list of game add-ons and macros that will make PvP even easier, and a guide for selecting the best PvP talents.
Every aspect of dominating WoW is covered in the Ultimate WoW Guide. Since the guide is regularly updated, you won’t need another guide after getting this one. Whether you’re interested in guides for leveling, PvP, gold, gear, professions, or talents; every one of Dugi’s guides are well done. The Ultimate WoW Guide is a 5 star product

Within Windows the central database is the registry. In the registry there is information about your computer, its environment, and the users. When people speak of a “clean” Windows registry, what do they mean?
The registry is clean when it consists of keys and data that describe the current state of the system. That means the information about the system hardware, the computer’s software, and the profiles and preferences of the users is correct. There is detailed information, such as file associations that reflect which applications use which files. Names of installed applications, their versions, and paths are stored along with software components such as ActiveX objects. Within the registry there is even information concerning computer security. Account numbers and catalogs are stored there. In short, an enormous amount of detailed information that the computer needs in order to run is stored in the registry.
What Are the Gains From a Clean Windows Registry?
If there are no registry errors your computer will run better, without system crashes or application errors. If the data stored in the registry is not accurate, the computer will not work as it should. If some of the files were moved but the registry was not updated to reflect these changes, imagine what would happen. Windows loses track of some of the information it requires. Sometimes Windows can fix the errors and then continue its operations, with just a hiccup. But if there are too many errors in the registry (or a single critical error), the system may terminate an application or even stop working altogether. Much of the time Windows is unable to find or detect the errors in the registry. Registry errors can be the source of cryptic error messages, make your system unreliable, and cause all sorts of weird problems.
Before reading further, be sure to check out my Registry Repair Review
What about when Windows finds lots of useless information in the registry that it no longer needs and never uses? Windows must search the registry database frequently, so this can also be a problem. These searches are slowed down, due to the trash left in the registry. What is it that causes these registry errors and fills the registry with trash? By installing and uninstalling a single application, you can create tens or even hundreds of useless registry entries. What is the result when an application installation or uninstallation fails? The registry can be left in a horrible mess. Unless you clean the registry, some of this information does not remain correct.
Malware and computer viruses are another cause of registry errors. Terrible damage can be caused by a malicious program.
How Do You Get A Clean Windows Registry?
If you erase everything on the hard disk and then reinstall Windows and all of your applications you will create a clean registry. Some experts think you should do this. But not many people can afford this radical solution. Manually editing the registry to fix the errors is another solution an expert user may choose. This procedure is not safe if you don’t know exactly what needs to be changed. Editing the registry this way can take hours.
Using a registry cleaner application is safer and quicker. These programs can quickly find and fix the errors in your registry. With a clean Windows registry, your system will start faster and run faster. It will also produce fewer error messages, application errors, and system crashes.

In spite of its older brother Spyware Doctor’s fame, PC Tools Internet Security is an interesting product. The reality is that it is a rarely sought after product. This is surprising. PC Tools Antivirus is built with the same foundational technology as that which gives us Spyware Doctor and PC Tools Antivirus! Additionally, this product has spamdefense in the offering as well.
I began to wonder if it might be cost that is keeping it from wide spread adoption. After checking on pricing, $59.95 (as of 9/26/08) is a reasonable cost. The only bad thing I found in reviews was its lack of heuristic scanning.
Heuristic scanning: “A heuristic probe is used to discover new, unknown viruses in your systems that have not yet been identified. Only some antiviruses can do this type of probe, the majority are only able to discover known viruses.” This doesn’t seem to be the reason either.
I will chalk it up to a lack of marketing. The reason I say this is because I see heuristic search capability incorporated in the latest release. Most importantly, I found out that most customers and potential customers are still looking for their antivirus and firewall as separate offerings.
Bob Metcalfe, the person attributed as the Inventor of the Internet exemplifies what choosing what is not so popular….”And I turned around to look at these 10, 12 AT&T suits, and they were all laughing. And it was in that moment that AT&T became my bte noire, because I realized in that moment that these SOBs were rooting against me. To this day, I still cringe at the mention of AT&T. That’s why my cell phone is a T-Mobile. The rest of my family uses AT&T, but I refuse .”
Granted, choosing PC Tools Internet Security will not be that dramatic but it could prove to be a good internet security application for your computer.

There are literally hundreds of spy gadgets out there for use in the home, business and even for a bit of fun. These 3 gadgets could well be the top 3 in the world right now.
3- The brilliant recording key
This basically a cleverly disguised digital video recorder with the appearance of a normal remote car key. Something that is included with this is photo snapshot capture and is almost impossible to detect with the naked eye. It as time and stamp date to prove when it was recorded as well as coming with a 2GB SD card with three hours of recording time.
2-F.W.B Keylogger
This really is a USB data stick in disguise and is used to monitor the activity on somebodys computer. All you really have to do is insert the stick into the targets computer and the program will take at around twenty seconds to install. It will then do everything from recording what websites are used to IM conversations as well as taking regular snapshots of the computer and most importantly can search for the sender and recipient of all e-mails. To get it back all you have to do is plug it in and all the data will come back in seconds. Useful for worried parents or to see what your employees are up to.
1- The brilliant vehicle Tracking
Whatever car you want can be tagged with this. Vehicle tracking is good for checking to see where a partner is going or how far your employees travel as well as looking into how fast, what roads they take and how long they are sat in traffic or on their lunch breaks.
By no means is this all of the gadgets out there. There are many others including voice recorders and wireless covert cameras if that is what is going to be more suitable for your needs.

This article covers simple steps that any user can follow to rapidly make any computer faster. Implementing either of the first two steps in this article should take less than 15 minutes using a PC or Mac.
Step 1 - Clean the computer registry
Slow computers often have errors in their registry. The main functions of a registry are about connecting hardware, software and computer files. In practice therefore, the computer registry acts as the computer’s nervous system. Over time, errors occur and this slows down computers, frequently their registry become corrupted. A straightforward step is to locate any errors in the registry then repair them. Despite the fact that it is possible to repair the registry manually in theory, this method is not recommended. The main reason for this, is that it requires strong knowledge of the structure of the registry as well as its functions. Registry fix software are a faster, more reliable alternative to correct errors, remove unused files, any incorrect links and deal with ActiveX components. Click on compare registry fix software for more information.
Step 2 – Delete and block adware and spyware
Another common reason leading to computers slowing-down, is the large number of spyware and adware, which are downloaded from the Internet, often without the users knowledge. This happens particularly often, when peer to peer networks are being used to download music and videos for example. One of the simplest solutions to improve any computer’s speed is to use an anti spyware or adware software to scan, remove and block these unwanted threats. Before buying any anti spyware or adware software it is best to use the trial version which is often free. Ease of Download and Simplicity of Use, Automatic Backup, Quality of Customer Service, and of course the overall effectiveness of the software are the main features to consider. The best software tend to be the simplest to use and rely on a research capability that constantly updates the software for new threats. Click on best adware spyware removal for more information.
Step 3 – Eliminate viruses
Unsurprisingly many computer viruses can slow down computers and drive down response times. Often viruses damage computer files and use excessive resources such as large amount RAM and disk space. In order to overcome these problems, as well as optimise performance, users should run the latest version of the best anti-virus programs. In the end, they will also be in a stronger position to improve their computer performance.
Step 4 – Simple housekeeping tasks
There are many simple housekeeping tasks which can be done to improve the speed of any computer, for example uninstalling any software that is not needed. Alternatively, stopping programs to launch automatically can also improve the performance of any computer. These simple steps usually produce small improvements.
Step 5 – Optimise the Hard disk
For hard disks which are smaller than 2GB then at least 200MB of disk should be kept free and at least 500MB for larger hard disks. This freed up space is an important factor of computer speed as it is used by temporary files which software require to work effectively. This is also used for swapping files when the operating system needs to use virtual memory as it runs out of RAM. In that event, users can experience a reduction in speed, if too little space is available on the hard disk. Disk scanning programs such as Scandisk for Windows can help check for errors on the hard disk. For instance, your hard disk may be large enough but too fragmented and some disk sectors may have been damaged. Using a defragmentation program will also improve any computer’s speed.
Step 6 – Optimising the RAM
Some programs are poorly designed and do not release RAM resources after they are closed. This reduces the RAM which is available for other programs. Running out of RAM too fast is not uncommon and users who have this problem should consider upgrading the memory on their computer. An alternative free option is simply to not run some computer programs at the same time as each other.
Step 7 – Stop the computer from overheating
Faulty fans are a common cause leading to the computer overheating, slowing down then freezing as a result. To overcome this problem, installing a new fan is the best solution which will reduce the computer’s temperature by increasing the airflow and ultimately improve response time.

There are many potential causes of data loss for all computer users ranging from the casual home user who just does a bit of occasional surfing and the odd bit of Photoshop, too the computer super users and computer aided design experts. Typically data loss can occur when a computer starts to experience boot up problems.
Knowing how to deal with the potential for data loss is what separates those who have been there from those who are yet to experience it. So what kind of scenarios are we talking about here and what are we looking for?
Computer is working but simply won’t boot up properly: Often this can be overcome by starting your computer in safe mode if you know how, and going from there. But this will not always help as you may be suffering from a software issue or conflict or even possible a hardware issue such as a failing hard disk drive.
Operating System becomes slow: When it comes to a Microsoft Windows operating environment it is not unusual, over time for the OS to become cluttered with background processes that slowly grind the system to a near halt. In such cases it may be deemed that a full reinstallation of the OS is required in order that it reach a more useable state.
Virus or Malware infection: Computer viruses and other Malware applications, if not properly handled from the start, will inevitably lead to situations whereby a full reinstall is the only option to truly remove all trace of the malicious software from the system.
So we come back to how we handle a problem when it arises. How do we prevent data loss when we inevitably have to reinstall our current operating system or upgrade to a new one?
The Key, wherever possible, and where there is no hard disk drive fault requiring professional data recovery services is simple: Backup! Sounds simple enough if the drive is working fine, but not enough people do it.
External hard drives can be purchased in most computer shops now days and a quick search online for online backup will also give you a number of remote back up options.
So what can you do if the worst has happened to you? One simple technique that has helped thousands of people recover data that would otherwise be at risk due to the unpredictability of the reinstall process is to use a USB caddy and hook the drive in question up to a fully working, (and fully protected) machine.
You can find more great advice on remote data backup and USB data recovery here.

Many computer users seem to have some big misunderstandings about how important PC maintenance is to insure its proper performance. Possibly the most overlooked and neglected maintenance take is registry cleaning.
The average homeowner knows that they will have to keep up with routine home repairs and property maintenance if they want it to last a lifetime. Just like car owners understand perfectly that they will need to do routine oil changes, tune-ups, tire rotations and such if they expect their vehicles to keep running.
However, when it comes to computers — many people mistakenly assume that buying a computer is the beginning and the end of their investment in the machine, other than the occasional feature upgrade, one-off purchase, or accessory. This couldn’t be further from the truth.
One of the most important aspects of computer maintenance is registry cleaning. The registry can be thought of as the brains of the computer since its what controls nearly every aspect of the PCs functionality as well as any additional applications that are running.
Over months and years of use, or just with a lot of adding and removing of programs, your computer’s registry begins to fill up with outdated information, it stores entries that actually hold errant information, and the entire size of your registry just becomes too large to handle efficiently.
When these things occur, you’ll start to notice that your PC slows down, certain applications may hang, freeze, or crash; you’ll see error messages popping up, or you’ll even experience intermittent rebooting of your PC — without your input.
While computer slowdowns can be attributed to a few different things — running out of disk space, inadequate memory, a heavily fragmented hard drive, or even a hard-drive failure waiting to happen — applications freezing, error messages, and rebooting with no input are symptoms of an unhealthy registry.
You will have to use a registry repair software to get rid of registry entries that are causing problems and threatening your computers stability. While it is very rare, some registry related problems may require that you reinstall the Windows operating system. A registry that performs poorly can quickly degrade your computers efficiency and cause problems with different applications that you try to run.
Fortunately, registry cleaning and repair is relatively easy — most professional registry repair utilities are very user friendly; no matter what your experience level, chances are that you can easily operate a registry cleaner. Cleaning your registry is a quick, and simple, way to help ensure the stability of your computer, and to protect your investment for years to come.
